Reasons for a Vehicle Inspection

Vehicle Inspection Process

Before your Jeep® Grand Cherokee or RAM 1500 undergoes inspection, you will be asked for your license, registration, and proof of insurance. These should be with you in the car at all times but verify that they are and that they are up to date. The inspector will then look at the exterior and interior of the vehicle before moving onto an engine check. Your brake pads, brake pedal, and parking brake will all be inspected as well. After that, the mechanic will test your chassis, including your shocks, axles and frame. Don't forget about your tires, as worn or damaged tires can be dangerous, so be sure to get them replaced before inspection if the tread is worn.
